My Dream University in College

Studying in known universities has been one of the hot topics today in the Philippines. They said being able to study in top and known universities has an big impact in your college journey— studies, making friends, social life and etc. 

Today, I am Ayessa Avril Marasigan Guadaña, 16 years old, a Grade 11 STEM student in Philippine Christian University aims to study in one of the said universities above.

My number 1 choice of university is the University of the Philippines or also known as UP. 

University of the Philippines or Unibersidad ng Pilipinas is a state university system in the Philippines. It is the country's national university, as mandated by Republic Act No. 9500 (UP Charter of 2008). University of the Philippines has a total 8 constituent universities and 1 autonomous college: UP Diliman (served as the system's flagship university), UP Los Baños, UP Manila, UP Visayas, UP Open University, UP Mindanao, UP Baguio, UP Cebu, UP Tacloban College.

The course that I wanted to take in UP is Public Health which they only offer at one of their constituent university, University of the Philippines Manila. 

The reason why I want to get into UP is because I know I can and I will survive there. Upon writing this part of blog, I have doubts on myself if I can really study in UP because UPCAT (entrance exam) is hard yet, there's nothing wrong in dreaming this big. Nevertheless, I will continue to dream high and trust what's the plan for me.
